Ekman Garden Resort is located in Nakhorn Si Thammarat. A small hotel, where the guest will find calm, a friendly and a pleasant atmosphere. All 14 rooms at the hotel have all the modern facilities guests' would expect from a hotel of this class.
The garden is one of the most gorgeous ones in the whole region, with pretty flowers, ponds, fish, butterflies and birds, and a softly shaped 15 m pool in front of the restaurant part. There is a little river and a manmade lake within the garden where the guest can catch a nice fish for dinner. The guest can choose to eat either European or Thai style, or both.

Our second visit. Nice and comfortable bungalows in a beautiful garden with clean pool. Fantastic food, specially seafood. Kindly and helpful staff create a family atmosphere. Definitly you get value for money.

A lovely little resort with a lovely garden and very good food. Anna and Staffan was very nice and took good care of oss. The only disadvantage of Ekman was that the resort was not located so near the beach. It was the ca 1-2 km away and the last distance down to the beach, you had to walk on bamboo poles in a mangrove area.We were very pleased with our stay there.

Dessa människor var helt underbara. De tog emot oss med kärlek i en helt underbar miljö. Anna och Staffan som äger detta underbara ställe tog med oss ut varje dag, visade oss tempel, varuhus, stränder, marknader, batiktillverkning, matställe som thailändarna själv går till.Anna lagade den mest smakrika maten med fin uppläggning. Jag rekommenderar alla att besöka denna underbara resort. Jag har bott på många 4 stjärniga hotell, detta har fem för här finns miljön och den atmosfär man letar efter. Tack alla ni som tog hand om oss som om vi var en i familjen.

Very nice and quiet resort with pleasant atmosphere. Hospitable hotelkeepers and staff. Nice well capt airy rooms. Original and beautiful organised garden. Situated in a small rural Thai community of farmers and prawn cultivaters. Nearest town is at 10 km easily reached by public transport for 20 bath ppp.

Wow! We enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Ekman Garden resort! We felt very much at home, from the moment we met Anna. She takes the time to make sure every guest is very well taken care of. The Gardens are BEAUTIFUL! The fruit is AMAZING! The rooms are beautiful and spacious! The entire staff is attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Ekman Resort is a little resort, laying in a very small village. So very good for people who want to avoid a flow of activities or a crowdy envirement.In the opposite it is even very quiet. So it is not interesting for people who just want to party and/or want have activities planned for children. The resort is not directly situated at the seashore, but a walk to- and enjoying the beach is very well possible. Service in Ekman garden is very good. All people working in or for the resort are very helpfull and friendly. We had a wonderfull time in Ekman resort.

All reservations, payments etc. are quickly and good organized. There was just one little mistake in one of 4 reservations. Sawadee took action by itself to solve the little problem without questions or interference from our side. Reliable quick operating organisation.

This place is wonderful. Anna treated us as though she was our pee sow (older sister) and always made sure we were enjoying our stay, and that we were ok.. The food is wonderful, I will miss the yellow curry with bananas apples and chicken so much! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and it was one of my favorite places in Thailand. The rooms were great and the gardens beautiful. This place is off the tourist track and the people in the small town are just so friendly. Even though they speak little to no english, EVERYONE makes a point of waving and saying hello as you drive around the village. I can t wait to visit again. I will miss you Anna!

The Ekman Garden Resort
is a family driven small hotel, where the guest will find calm, beauty and a friendly atmosphere. The owners speak Swedish, English and Thai. It is situated at the mainland to the west of Koh Samui in southwest of Thailand. Nearest cities are Sichon, Nakorn si Thammarat and Suratthani. Distance to the sea: 1, 2 km.
The garden is one of the most beautiful ones in the whole region, with lovely flowers, ponds, fish, butterflies and birds, and a softly shaped 15 m pool in front of the restaurant part. There is a little river and a manmade lake within the garden where the guest
can catch a nice fish for dinner. The guest can choose to eat either European or Thai style, or both.

Same as room A but this room has a little closed in garden connected to the bathroom. Over this garden and the patio there is a pergola. From the patio one has a nice view towards the fish lake and fisherman house. This room can connect to room type A through double doors to form a family suit.
Honeymoon Suite size 40 m2
The 40 m2 honeymoon suite is situated on second floor connected to the
garden and party house. The suite has one bedroom opening to a living room
through sliding-doors. It has two toilet and shower rooms and two balconies with
a very nice view of the garden. The corner sofa in the living-room can be made
to two beds when used as a family room.

of Thailand. From Nakorn si Thammarat town it is 66 km to the resort
following the 4 -lane road 401 to the north towards Surathani. Distance
from Nakorn si Thammarat Airport is 48 km and from Surathani Airport

For Self driving coming from the north:
It takes about thirty minutes by car from Donsak to our resort. When
you pass the PTT Gas Station just before Sichon you put the trip meter
on 10 km and go strait on on the four lane road .Then you see our sign
on left side just before Tonriang village.
