Khao Lak Resort is a luxury beach retreat magnificently set on a hilly area surrounded by natural lush greeneries and gradually descends onto a 400-metre long glittering white sandy beachfront boasting a breathtaking vista of the aquamarine Andaman Sea. Situated near Khao Lak-Lamru National Park, the charming resort lies merely 45 minutes away from Phuket International Airport, and 2-hour ride from Krabi Airport.
All spacious guestrooms stylishly decorated in classical Thai style are well-appointed with quality amenities alongside splendid wooden furnishing and private balcony overlooking the mesmerising views. In-house facilities include delectable beachfront restaurants, gym, a vast pool, spa and massage, diving centre and wedding services.

Nice, quiet, rustik and djungel-charm all the resort Too hard beds, but the staff fixed it, we got a soft madrass extra. Staffmembers are very nice and helpful. Very good restaurant. We will go there again.

Very nice location situated in a nature location with high trees, but medium quality rooms and bungalows. Fine breakfast but medium and sometimes poor room service. Good kitchen with medium up to high price. Very quiet, no animations (good), preferred visited by retired guests (NOT suitable for handicapped persons!). Long and excellent beach-front. Half price as offered at www.khaolakresort.com will be adequately.

The resort is first rate, spread out among beautiful park-like grounds facing a wonderful beach. The staff were all excellent. We had a bit of an issue at first, finding our deluxe bungalow far away, hidden from the sea view we had expected. After complaining to the manager, we were moved, after a couple of nights, and given a complimentary dinner for our troubles. The food was good, better than expected, and the breakfast buffet had a wonderful assortment of western and eastern foods. The other guests were in their 50s and 60s, and seemed a bit more dour than we would have thought, given the spectacular surroundings

Relaxing place to stay. A bit of a walk if you want to go down to the shops (e.g. 7-11, places to eat, etc) although there are plenty of taxi s outside the hotel.
The menu at the onsite restaurant/s is somewhat limited. Buffet breakfast was rather average compared to other hotels in the same price range. What we found really strange was that the hotel s staff (chef/cook, waiters/waitresses) were also having their breakfast at the same place as the hotel s guests towards the end of breakfast time. Guess it s nice to see the hotel allowing them to have the leftovers but surely they can do that in the kitchen or in the hotel s staffroom, and not at the actual restaurant used by the hotel s guests?
Worth visiting if you want a nice relaxing holiday away from the party crowds.. but don t expect too much from the hotel s restaurants

Very good placed hotel. We lived like in a jungle with birds and animals like there. The hotel is situated in National Park that´s why there is no motor boat and you can still relax. The staff were very friendly and the room was wonderful and clean. The breakfast was like american and thai style and the dinner was very delicious and dreamful (the presentation of the meal). You can dinner every day directly in front of the beach.
The disadvantage was (like in every hotel?) the morning pool reservation of any stupid people! That´s so unpolite!

A very quiet relaxing resort with lovely sandy beach,well maintained garden and
various pools.Rooms are nice and clean.Staffs are friendly and service excellent.Recommended for couples who wishes a quiet relaxing vacation.Walking
distance are shops and restaurants along the main road. We will certainly stay here again.

Jumpoon conference room is situated on
the upper slope of the resort area thus overlooking the magnificent
landscape. It is an ideal spot for hosting events, seminars,
meetings or conferences, with the hall itself surrounded by a
natural environment. As opposed to the conventional ballroom-styled
conference room, Jumpoon aims at providing a relaxing atmosphere
amid the southern Thai classical charm of the room, and with a touch
of its surrounding nature. This seminar room is designed to
accommodate up to 220 persons with a variety of room configurations
and packages available. Jumpoon, equipped with the latest technology
and providing a breathtaking view of the sea and relaxing
atmosphere, will ensure that stress and friction, the problems that
are a part of seminars, are kept to a minimum!

spread of dishes from our demonstration kitchen, "Kumpun
Boat". The sea food variety that goes into our
preparation are fresh catches from nearby, which provides that
important component in enhancing the flavour and taste of our chef's

The
Pool Bar and Pool Sala are located beside Khaolak Pool. They have a
wide selection of light cocktails and snacks that are served amidst

Blended into the tranquil
rainforest atmosphere, The Baimai Spa is conceived to offer some
excellent spa activities within a peaceful environment. A massage
after hiking, a body wrap to hydrate and soothe after a day on the
beach, and a scrub after a long journey are all on available by
trained therapists.
The atmosphere is extremely cozy and relaxed with excellent service
from our friendly staff. Current facilities include herbal steam
room, sauna, Jacuzzi, combined wet and dry treatment rooms, fresh
flowers, essential burners and herbal teas and comforting touches
that add a homely and soothing atmosphere.
An inspired range of treatment exclusive to The Baimai Spa
is Anda Thai Touch, which combines aromatic marine salt scrub and
moisture treatments using plain and marine extracts, authentic Thai
herbs wrap and facial treatment and finally a unique Thai massage to
complete the course. Anda Experience starts with the application of
freshly prepared papaya, honey and Thai herbs to rejuvenate the
