The Maya Lanta Resort is a very naturally attractive loveliness in the tropical paradise of Southern Thailand, ideally located on the Klong Dao Beach, the most popular beach on Koh Lanta Island. Heading to Koh Lanta Yai will eventually take you through one of Koh Lanta local transit cities in Krabi, Phuket or Trang, depending on your entry point into Thailand
We would like to offer 18 comfortable rooms. 2 single bed Suites rooms (King-size bed), 13 single and twin bed Deluxe rooms 3 single and twin bed Superior rooms. Room amenities are include Air – conditioning, in-room safe, refrigerator with mini-bar along with DVD player following by cable/satellite all room have their own balcony stunning sea view overlooking at Klong Dao Beach.

The Maya koh Lanta Resort was fabulous. The rooms are big and beautiful and the pool is right on the beach - I had such a relaxing time, with such a beautiful view.
The breakfast was simple, but adequate - could ve been a bit better. But on the upside the pizzas are the best I ve ever tasted!!!
Will definitely stay here again!

What a lovely hotel, small, I think about 19 rooms. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean we loved them. This hotel is literally on the beach, lie in the pool and check the ocean out. Breakfast, ask for what you want and they will accommodate. Staff were really friendly and organised lots of things for us. We love Koh Lanta, been there once before, and found that it hasn t changed as much as we thought it would have. Go to Saladan Market for amazing seafood in the eveing, all the locals also go. Try the Brit Pub, nice lady owener. A must is the Fat Monkey Restaurant, what a nice guy - thanks Will you made us really welcome. All in all a really good stay - no complaints.

Maintenance at the area should be better, looks like nothing is done.
Restaurant is not worth to visit, out of 10 wines only two was in stock. Same with the food, not every thing on menu card could be served.

All information on the website is exact what we got there, big room, clean and nice decor. Staffs are friendly. Local food and drink, beach bar, small shops are just a few minutes walk away either on the beach or road. The beach is long enough, a jog on power sandy in the morning would be an option for outdoor sport

Very nice hotel great rooms exactly like the pictures right on the beach!Very small hotel but more then enough pool loungers! Breakfast are limited in choice but nice! Staff very friendly and manager was always willing to help! Lots of DVD to choose from to watch in the room!

This is the second time we stayed at Maya Lanta and they are as good as ever. The room is very comfortable and spacious.The gounds and the pool are clean and nice. We have nothing but good experience with the staff. They are very helpful, especially the manager, Mr Nice. (That s his name and he lives up to it!) We were there during the airport closeure fieaco in Thailand and he as well as the satff were activly tryong to help some of the guesses who were stranded because all flights were cancled. These are the guesses who were checking out! Other hotels might have done nothing, but they were helping them getting alternative transportation back ot BKK (bus/train tickets) I was very impressed that they went the extra miles for their guesses.
Another pleasant surprise was the hotel pizzaria. They made great pizza. Itlaian style, not the american one. The price is a little steep becuase of the 10% serv. charge, otherwise the restaurant prices were on par with others on the beach. For a rainy day that you didn t want to wonder out, it s not bad

The reservation procedure was easy and convenient. I never use Sawadee.com before so I was a little nervous about paying ahead of time. But all was well. One thing that is confusing for me is the date used during the reservation because the americans use month/date/yr. The site use date/month/yr. So may is suggst the site to spell out the month to avoid confusion. (Such as Jan 20,09 instead of 1/20/09

We really love this hotel, the best hotel we stayed in at our holiday in Thailand. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a very nice bathroom. Great view facing the beach. The breakfast was exellent and the staff is alway smiling. The receptionists where very helpfull. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time we visit Koh Lanta.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay. The rooms are well furnished, clean and large by Thai hotel standards. Very nice pool, right on the edge of the beach. The restaurant food and service good, but a little more expensive that other restaurants. Very good breakfast, with everything that one requires. I would recommend this hotel as good in it s price range and would consider staying here again if I come back to Koh Lanta.

Wonderful hotel, even if we was disappointed at first, when we arrived. We came from Phi phi Island and I think that the beach, water and landscape are much more beautiful there than at Koh Lanta. But after two days we like this hotel, the staff, the pool and can recommended it if you will stay at this beach. We stayed with two kids - and they liked it.
