Charm Churee Villa, Koh Tao, Jansom Bay This was a stunning and peaceful location and the room was perfect except for 1 thing(we were in the deluxe room). There was no tv. The service was fantastic, always with a friendly smile. Only 10 minutes easy walk to the pier shopping. The friendly hundreds of fish in the bay were great and loved being fed bread. I would definitely return, if they can add the tv, apparently it was only available in the most expensive room :-( |
The booking service was efficient |

Black Tip Dive Resort, Koh Tao, Ao Tanote Our stay at Black Tip was great. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, which was probably what we enjoyed most. The food was good and our room was comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone. |

Koh Tao Resort, Koh Tao, Chalok Baan Kao The experience at koh Tao Resort was great! We believe the resort was located on the nicest beach on the island - big enough to feel open and space but small enough to feel the seclusion and quiet peace.
We stayed in a beachfront bungalow with fanastic views of the beach/bay and a decent size deck big enough for a family. The room was fine, bathroom a little small but who needs to spend time in a bathroom when you re in a place like that! The breakfast was OK, nothing great but their lunch/dinner menu was extensive and really good. We visited their sister resort up the mountain (they have a free shuttle) and had dinner up there with amazing views. Service was applaudable. We also liked the infinity pool up there and had the place to ourselves one day. We would go back here in a second.
However, if you are looking for long sandy beaches, go to Koh Samui - Lamai Beach. Koh Tao is a diving island and so there wasn t much beach in any of the bays, but it was uniterrupted and peaceful as apposed to being harrassed every second on Koh Samui. |

Koh Tao Resort, Koh Tao, Chalok Baan Kao Our stay at Koh Tao Resort was absolutely perfect. Our room was very clean, and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was okay, but really good compared to all our other Thailand breakfasts. I would recommend this place, |

Koh Tao Resort, Koh Tao, Chalok Baan Kao The hotel has a good swiming pool, clean rooms, nice stuffs, and many kinds of food in the restaurant. Chinese foods are available, that is the most pleasant suprise for us. |

Nang Yuan Island Dive Resort, Nang Yuan Island Very very beautiful scenery from the room! Every thing is fine but without hot watser shower in the standard room. But if you don t mind it or you d like to pay more for a deluxe room, it is strongly recommended for your trip to Koh Nangyuan. |

Chintakiri Resort, Koh Tao The hotel is perched on a hillside with great views from the rooms, restaurant and pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The one drawback is the climb up the hill to reach the hotel. Even for the fit and able-bodied it can be a struggle to walk up. The taxis are reluctant to drive up and some even wanted an extra 100 baht to take you up the hill. |
No problems at all with the booking - all went very smoothly. |

Nang Yuan Island Dive Resort, Nang Yuan Island The resort is very attractive for the explorers. The facilities are simple. There is no shower near lobby area for guests after activities and hotel room is a little far from the beach. There is no hot water for shower in the room. This is need to inform guest in the advance. Staff is very kind and professional. |

Sai Thong Resort, Koh Tao, Sai Nuan The room was not very nice. Bed sheets and mosquito nets were dirty. Whole room and bathroom didn t look like it had been cleaned for a while. Rat droppings everywhere and a rat came in the night and got our crisps that were hanging from our washing line in the room - scared my wife to death when it crawled over her bed!! There were large gaps at the tops of the walls (like in a cheap garden shed) so the rats could come and go easily!
We booked 4 nights but only stayed 1 night as we found a much nicer room at the place next door called Char Village, which was cheaper too! No rats there as the room didn t have huge holes in it! Beautiful view of sea (instead of only trees at Sai Thong).
POSITIVES: staff were friendly and were understanding when we said we didn t think it fair for them to charge a deposit for the nights we didn t stay. The beach was beautiful with great snorkelling. Would definitely go back but wouldn t stay at Sai Thong! |
