We have just returned from Saui - 9 nights at this hotel.Have mostly positive things to say. Situation fantastic - best part of the beach. Can this this having stayed at Northern end of bech last year where the sea was ghastly. Couldn t believe that you are only allowed 1 key per room - extremely inconvenient & can see no resoning for this.
The shower over the bath is dreadful - floods the bathroom with every shower - no idea who designed such a disater.
Apart from that everything else was fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Would like to make special mention of Bond (pool man) and Go (restaurant waiter). They were fantastic. Would stay there again if they could manage to produce 2 keys per room. Although it was the rainy season we had about 30 mins of rain one day & a heavy downpour at night the night before we left. Couldn t have asked for better weather & I am a real sun-lover

Excellent. Accommodation of good standard (Pool Villa). Well serviced daily.
Staff Professional and efficient.
Central facility for those shopping.
Beach location central. Beach great for swimming, good sand and clean.

Excellent - Had not dealt through this service previously and was concerned at having to pay for everything before we left, however very happy with end result and the prompt response to any queries I put forward.

Have returned several times because it is so good - great rooms and the staff are fantastic as shown in husbands recent fall when they could not have been more helpful and thoughtful -ALL LEVELS of staff

Very good hotel in beautiful location right on the beach. Staff excellent and very friendly - nothing too much trouble. Hotel rooms very clean and well equipped and breakfasts very good. Hotel situation good - at quieter end of resort and beach - all there if you want it but able to ignore the brighter lights if you wish. Perfect!

Considering this is classed as a 3* hotel it was far better than most 5* hotels we have stayed in on the island. We had adjoining pool view villas which we asked for and these were clean, great size double bed and well maintained daily. The resort was beautifully laid out, the pool was a good size for swimming and child friendly, and the beach area was one of the best around. The staff were very friendly, and the food great. The night entertainment didn t seem to attract many people but this is probably due to the fact that there is so much going on on the beach (great bars and restaurants). Would definately use this hotel again.

Very efficient as we had to change our dates due to illness in the family. This did not cause any problems or incur additional charges from the hotel or Sawadee.com. We would book again using this website.

Definitely not the five star or even four star hotel. I stayed in the deluxe bungalow for 2 nights, Sun doesn t get into the room at all, the room was dark, old and very small. The price for the room is totally wrong. Room is not like the photo on the web. This was my second visit to samui having stayed 5 other resorts, it was the worst room with expensve price(5900baht per night). The food in the restaurant is just ok but much nicer ones in the main street or along side of the beach offering nicer food with cheaper price. I wouldn t recommend this to anyone.

Our 4th stay in Samui, Chaweng Beach, Very impressed with Banana Fan Sea Hotel - great service and lovely rooms. As with all hotels, drinks ridiculously overpriced - also, dont bother with the theme evenings - would DEFINITELY stay at Banana Fan again
