Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa, Koh Samet, Ao Prao Le Vimarn is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are somewhat pricey but the service is great. BUZZ restaurant serves some of the best Thai food we have had in Thailand. Drinks and services can add up quickly!!! Very expensive (Happy Hour at BUZZ is worth it!) |

Rayong Resort, Rayong, Ban Pae I have visited Thailand for eight years and have lived there for the last three years. I have traveled Thailand extensively and can say that the Rayong Resort, in terms of its food prices, is one of the biggest rip-offs I have encountered.
I live in Pattaya, a renowned resort city itself, and Rayong Resort’s prices do not compare favorably. For example, I can sit on the beach in Pattaya and order a coconut for twenty baht and a Singha beer for forty baht. At the Rayong Resort the coconut was 117 baht and the Singha was 167 baht, that’s $5.00 US for a small beer. The rest of the food prices were just as inflated. A fried fish that I pay 200 baht in Pattaya, over 700 baht at the Rayong Resort. Ridicules!
I expect to pay, and do not mind paying, a little more for food at a nice resort but Rayong Resort obviously caters to the unsuspecting tourist who does not know that they are being subjected to high-way robbery.
The resort is located in an idyllic remote setting on the beach but unfortunately uses that remote setting as a means to extort its customers. With no car or motorbike rental available, planed that way I am sure as I have never seen any other resort do this, it can keep its customers captive to its exorbitant pricing.

Saikaew Villa, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Don t expect too much from the rooms & staff. The room prices are high for the (low) quality offered. I was happy that I had to stay only 1 night. The staff did their job, nothing more. Better stay at Ao Prao or Ao Thian. The resorts seem to have a much higher standard. |

Saikaew Beach Resort, Koh Samet, Saikaew Beach Do not expect too much, you just get what you can expect for that price. Rooms are very simple, but at least clean. Breakfast is very good. Swimming Pool is quite small and no sun beds, neither at the pool nor on the beach. |

Mooban Talay Resort, Koh Samet, Ao Noi Na I can see this resort as being a very romantic spot with better weather than the rainy season offers travellers at this time of the year. Accommodations were spaceous and comfortable and memorable in terms of the unique touches in the luxury bungalows, situated a stone s throw away from the beach. Had a nice peaceful time here. Staff were very friendly and service oriented. I liked the local ferryboat that took us visitors back to the mainland. Very convenient. |
the booking service system indicated that the first choice I had made for a hotel on Koh Samed was not available, so I took this as a working option. |

Samed Club, Koh Samet, Ao Noi Na We loved our stay. The beach is kept clean, the room was clean and an attractive design with super shower. The swimming pool was fun for the kids and was much nicer than the photo indicated, though it is a smallish pool. The food at the restaurant on sight was fine for breakfast, but a litte pricey and just okay for other meals. We will come again and book a snorkeling trip for the day. The sand is white and the water nice and blue. The staff were very pleasant and kind, overall a nice experience despite all the rain. |
Your site as usual, was very good in assisting with the booking arrangements. We will continue to use Your site! |

Le Vimarn Cottages & Spa, Koh Samet, Ao Prao Very expensive for what it is. We stayed in the Spa Villa and have been very disapointed. The terrace as well as the spa bathtub was not clean and we did not even dare to use it.
The room (spa villa) is not well organized, and our shower Rain style shower was very hard to use as it was not that rainy...! We mentionned it to the reception, but nothing happened.
The service is very poor, no staff around looking for your comfort, and having lunch nearby the swiming pool takes ages (one dish for one person after the other and separated by about 20 minutes...!).
We ve been living in Thailand for more than 8 years already, and I can tell that for the same price (more than 8,000 THB), you can get much much better in other hotels.
I would recommend to go for a cheaper room on the same beach (the beach is indeed very nice and beautiful). Furthermore, le Vimarn is not the only one to have a swiming pool, the Ao Prao Resort has also one now.
One good point, the restaurant (Buzz), the thai restaurant of the resort is very good with a good atmosphere, decoration and service.
Conclusion: We DO NOT recommend this hotel, and will not go there again as we ve been VERY disappointed. |
The booking through Your site is very convenient and very professional. Nothing to say about it except very good. |
