Gateway Hotel, Phayao
Medium size room with twin beds ( told double bed not available in deluxe room ?? ). Room clean but musty smell and noisy air con. Basic but clean bathroom with GOOD hot water pressure. Just adequate buffet b fast. Good town location next to bus station and 15 min walk to the Phayao Lake. The hotel lacks personality and could certainly do with a makeover. A rebranding to Ibis or Novotel would be ideal. |

Tharaburi Resort, Sukhothai
we stay one night, nice hotel very close to Sukhotai old city. You can rent a bike from the hotel and look around, very easy. |

Dhevaraj Hotel, Nan
Nice airy corner room. Clean basic bathroom with sunken bath for easy access for shower. Poor hot water pressure. BBC and Australian Network on cable TV. Hotel internet at 30 min for 40 baht. Simple buffet b fast. Good town location but far from bus station (20 - 30 baht by motorbike taxi). |

Nakorn Phrae Tower Hotel, Phrae
Reasonable room.Clean bathroom with basic toiletries.Only English on TV was DWT and News Asia. Cheap mini-bar ( sm Singha beer 35 baht). Hotel internet available at 50 baht for 1 hour. Basic set Asian or American b fast. Located about 25 min walk from the bus station. |

Amarin Lagoon Hotel, Phitsanulok
I stayed in one of the suites. This is probably one of the best properties in Phitsanulok city. The other good ones are at Sappraiwan and the Golf Resort, but these are a bit far from the town. Amarin Lagoon has a lovely ambience. The food is good and the Thai massage at the spa is also worth trying out. Room service is quite good too. The only difficulty perhaps is that the front office people don t understand much English. I had a lovely stay here. They also have a very convenient taxi service to anywhere in town. I will definitely stay here again when I am at Phitsanulok. |

Imperial Phukaew Hill Resort, Petchaboon
Picturesque, good service, all the amenities. The resort is situated on a mountain and the weather is cool compared to the rest of Thailand. The resort is very remote, but that s why you go here. A lot of unique sights to see in the area and they will arrange tours. Restaurant is good and reasonably priced. If I had to give it an area that could use improvement, the room was just a bit worn and slightly musty. A great value for money and highly recommended.

Fern Resort, Mae Hong Son
The place is wonderful and the staff so nice.
This was our first night in the region of Mae Hong Son and we could not have been more enchanted. The suite room with the little patio next to the river was a divine place to rest.
The garden is such a lush place and being guided by dogs for a small trek was very special and memorable.
The free transfer to town makes this an ideal place to rest and to discover the region. |

The Golden City Hotel, Ratchaburi
had a totally enjoyable stay inratchaburi and in the golden city hotel found it to be excellent value for money. friendly staff and nice big rooms. only downfall is distance from town centre but hotel was great at providing a taxi service.... i do not know why more people do not visit these non tourist provinces friendly people had a really pleasant time |

Very welcoming staffs. Very peaceful setting. Very fresh and clean air.
Swimming pool has superb panoramic view!! One of the best ones I ve seen.
The room is quite unique, simple but comfortable. It s got nice linen and all, but additional bed is not recommended for its size is well too small, and since they use sofa bed that comes with the room as an additional bed, you ll get no seating in the room.
The food is of good quality but may not satisfy those who prefer more tasty flavors.
The atmosphere of the resort is great for a relaxing vacation, suitable for those who like to be close to nature. |
