Accommodation and facilities:
It was enlightening to see a 20?? year old hotel still maintain its reputation as being a top hotel in the region. Though the rooms are dated, they are clean and well kept. It is one of the few hotels in Thailand that has an endless supply of hotwater for a baht! The airconditioner worked up to snuff. The staff was wonderful. The restaurant was decent also. Well trained staff which was refreshing after being in other poorly runned hotels in Thailand.

Decent hotel, with large rooms. Furniture and amenities a little dated, but functional. access limited to lobby and some guest rooms (the ones closest to the hubs). Good value for the price.
Reservation service:
Easy to use service. Just awkward that the voucher from the internet booking must be printed and presented at the hotel.

Accommodation and facilities:
Typical up-country hotel in Thailand. Facilities very limited, some in need of maintenance(guest lifts maintenance certificates 3 months out of date), food and beverage reasonable, staff friendly and helpful, but have zero in itiative between any of them. First room we were shown on 4th floor had very musty smell, we were then shown a room on the 3rd floor, which was fine. Everyting worked in the room, but the aircon did not cool very well. Shower was good. Had very lucky bad experience. I made the mistake of not taking valuables with me to breakfast. Luckily, my wife popped back to the room to find a maid there and with my wife s handbag and wallet open on the bed - maid very shocked to have been accosted, nothing taken, thank goodness. Reported this to Reception in absence of any Manager, but we were never advised that anything nad been done. Lesson is: if no room safe, ALWAYS take your valuables with you ALWAYS!

Accommodation and facilities:
Roi Et City Hotel was a nice hotel to stay at. It was certainly not extravagant but had generally good service. The room itself was fairly spacious and furnished simply. The restaurant was a bit on the high side considering the area but the food was fine and service was good. Breakfast was very simple even though I did eat the Sunday buffet. Nothing to get excited about!

Good Hotel, nice location. Chintzy on the breakfast. I had the breakfast coupon, and the first day went for the buffet. Well, the next day, they were ready for me. I could only have the American breakfast, while the buffet was just sitting there. I would have paid the few baht extra, but the staff was too busy watching me to make sure I ate what I was supposed to. Amusing, more than annoying.
Reservation service:
As always, easy and efficient service.

This hotel was one of several surprises that we had. We feared the worst based on some of the feedback that we read. In fact this hotel was great, the food was fantastic and the service second to none. I am so pleased we stayed here it was comfortable, clean and provided real respite from the heat and streets.

If you allow a little for the translation then I would say it was good.

Accommodation and facilities:
hotel price reasonable, located approx 2km from bus station and about 12km from airport. the junior suite decor was a bit tired looking and could seriously do with decorating, also there was an odd musty smell in the room ! the aircon is very noisy more noticable at night. the lavish bathroom offered corner bath and separate shower, and a solid marble surround sink. the reception staff speak a little english, were polite & friendly. most of the restaurant staff do not speak english, this caused problems when they cancelled the breakfast buffet due to very few guests at hotel. the inclusive breakfast choice seemed limited with poor quality of food, however, the menu for lunch/ dinner was very good and the food tasted very nice - both thai and western food ! again the prices were reasonable. they have internet at just 50 baht per hour (extremely good value). this hotel doesnt have a pool or spa facility, but can arrange a genuine thai massage at a incredibly good price of just 400 baht for 2 hours.
Reservation service:
booking service was great, the call centre were very helpful, they contacted me back by email very quickly to confirm booking, they speak english and are a pleasure to deal with.

A very nice hotel, clean, and quiet. Room was large and comfortable with a couple English speaking channels on the TV and have no complaints other than the water is not always hot, sometimes it would only get warm.

ATTRACTION
---- Ku Kasing
---
The complex consists of three brick
towers, aligned north to south, on the same extended late rite base.
Adjoining it to the front on each side is a rectangular late rite
building which is believed to be a library. This complex is set
within a large late rite wall which has a Gopura, the entrance pavilion
at each of the cardinal directions of the four pavilion entrances.
Only the ones in the east and west are real doorways. The rest are
blind. This laterite wall is protected by a horse shoe shaped moat,
no trace of which is seen today.
Located at
Ban Ku Kasing, Amphoe Kaset Wisai. Take Highway 215. Travel past
Amphoe Muang Suang. Turn right at the T- junction. From there, it's
about 7 kilometers. Turn left. It is 13 kilometers to the site.
--- Bueng Phlan Chai ---
The picturesque lake on the area of
200,000 Sq.m. in the central city is a symbol of Roi Et. It is blessed
with a relaxing atmosphere, with an island decorated with a large
flower garden. The pond also has various types of fish.
Bueng Phalan Chai is also used as a
venue for various events of the province. Inside is situated the
city pillar shrine, the sacred shrine that is highly revered by
the people of Roi Et.
There is also a large walking Buddha
image located amidst the flower garden, a Constitution atop a Footed
Tray, flower clock, Phu Phalan Chai (an artificial waterfall), animal
sculptures, playground and exercise areas.
----- WatBuraphaphiram, Phra
Buddha Ratana Mongkol Maha Muni ---
Standing
in blessing posture, it is the tallest reinforced concrete Buddha statue
ever in Thailand. From Roi-Et National Museum, travel along Ploenjit
Road. Turn right at the second traffic light. The temple is about 500
meters away.
---- Pha Nam Yoi Forest Park
---
It is most complete green forest park whose
natural conditions remain absolutely intact. From the peak of the hill.
Visitors can perceive the solid shape of tropical trees with scenic
views and a huge cliff. The forest covers an area of 20,000 rai (8,000
acres) On the cliff, unending drops of water from the cliff exists all
year round. That is why it is called and Pha Nam Yoi and, literally,
the cliff with unending drops of water. It is one of the most attractive
tourist attractions to visit. Below the cliff is hardwood forest trees
of various kinds. It abounds in myriad of wildlife such as boars, pheasants,
peacocks, deer, etc.
At the foot the hill, there is a Buddhist
temple called Wat Pha Nam Thip ,literally Temple of Magic Water where
Phra Maha Chedi Chai Mongkol is located uphill. Inside the temple, there
is a very spacious pavilion with 40 meters in width and 80 meters in
length. This spot is used as a viewpoint for the sunset. It is said
that the sunset is full of spectrum of wonderful colors whose beauty
is beyond our narration.
Also take Highway 2044 and 2136, the
same route as that leading to Phra Maha Chai Mongkol Chedi. It is about
62 kilometers.
