Holiday Garden Hotel, Huay Kaew Holiday Garden is one of the smaller hotels located on Huay Kaew Road, which leads to the ChiangMai zoo and farther on to Doi Suthep hill.
No problem to reach the center by sawng thaew (pick-up taxi) or tuk-tuk within 10 minutes. A quiet location with a beautiful small garden and pond, and also featuring a small swimming pool. There is, however, some occasional noise from planes taking off from ChiangMai airport, since the runway points in a northern direction. As long as there are no more than 12-15 outbound flights per day, this is not a big issue.
The hotel consists of 2 very different buildings: the old, country-style, hotel complex with only 3 floors and with rooms and a nice veranda showing to the pool and garden side, and a more recent, adjacent 9-storey tower, which clearly does not fit into the original hotel architecture. You should bear this in mind when selecting your room!
Breakfast is o.k., but not very lavish.
The service staff, esp. in the restaurants, are not very attentive, since the hotel specializes in receiving large groups of tourists, who
arrive for 1 or 2 nights and leave the following day. |
Very fast and reliable booking, payment and confirmation procedure. |

De Naga, Moon Muang Road This is a great place to stay in Chang Mai. It is central to everything and the only time we used transport was for the tours we booked. The Sunday markets are just around the corner and the Night Bazaars are a couple of blocks away. We walked everywhere but if you were loaded down with packages the tuk tuks are cheap enough. The staff at this hotel were the friendliest we came across - always smiling and greeting you and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable and our room was nice and quiet. If you wanted to spend a day relaxing in your room, you get a free mini bar quota (2 soft drinks/2 beers/2 waters everyday) and there is a DVD player with free DVD s to borrow from the lobby. There is also two computers at the lobby for free internet access with an unlimited time quota. The free breakfast is a delicious smorgasboard with plenty of choices. The hotel pool is quite small and only has 6 deck chairs and two love seats. We didn t have a problem when we were there but at busy periods you may not get a chair. The pool bar is unattended and it can be difficult to wave someone down to get an initial drink, but once they know you are there, they will look after you well. The two hotel restaurants served delicious meals and at reasonable prices. We are definately going back to this hotel - thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. |
Your site is a fantastic booking service. Easy to use and everything went smoothly. Our bookings were always there including all cars we booked. Wouldn t use anything else to book a holiday to Thailand. |

Scorpion Tailed Boat Village, Muang Very peaceful place, made us feel like home. Dogs were great and so were the owners. Clean and nice bungalows with basic breakfast. Anything we needed to know, the owners told us or they found it out. Stayig here for the next time in Chiang Mai for sure! |
Booking via internet was easy. Finding a place to write a review was difficult. For others with the same difficult: http://www.res24.com/review/ |

Empress Hotel, Chang Klan The hotel has a good location, friendly and warm staff, good food & a nice lobby. The rooms were cozy enough. You will get the impression that it s one of the best in the area as it was packed with tourists at the time we were there.
Overall, it s reasonably priced and it s very tourist-friendly. |
I m satisfied with Your site service. Fast to revert with inquiries, I must say. |

Royal Peninsula Hotel, Muang I found this hotel pretty basic, but it is cheap! Had to carry my own bags (but I am a Big Boy!!). The Reception people are friendly, and seem to speak English well enough (although I was speaking in Thai most of the time in Chiangmai!)
It is pretty close to the action, and plenty of local transport available outside. I got a great view from the balcony of my 6th Floor room. Would recommend. |
Excellent as always. |

Shewe Wana Boutique Resort & Spa, Muang Excellent small hotel with personalized service and very competent staff and management. I would prefer to have a buffet breakfast every day, but even the small breakfast they serve is good. SWIMMING POOL is small but in a very exuberant garden. I recommend it. |
Cheapest prices as usual |
