Silom City Hotel is a boutique hotel of 70 comfy guest rooms, located in heart of Bangkok bounded by shops and restaurants. Each room has fully amenities of air-conditioning, personal safe, cable TV, mini bar and internet access. A selection of Deluxe room, Deluxe Plus room and Deluxe suites are customize designed for your relaxation and comfort.
The hotel site is at ease access to shopping centre, nightlife and entertainment establishments, Bangkok railway terminal, Lumpini park, the Chao Phraya river and the expressway to airport.

I found the lower priced rooms to be smelly and most unplesant, but the upper levels rooms with hardwood floors and open views of the city were superb. The staff was excellent in their friendliness and helpfulness. Excellent breakfast. Location is superb for sight seeing.

Location is superb if you like shopping

Stayed in deluxe 1500 baht room. I found this hotel to be very clean. The staff at all levels were pleasant and friendly. The rooms were spacious and modern, the air-con in my room was not working properly, so at midnight i asked to change rooms, 10 minutes later i was in another room, with perfect air-con. Hotel down side road off Silom, meat and fish market plus fruit and food vendors down the road, which is part of the reason to come to Thailand, to see the real Thai people. I would stay at this hotel again.

It was a pleasant stay, room is clean and big for a budget hotel. I was given a double-bed, looks bigger than a king size bed, very good. Very convienient by Taxi to shopping area eg. MBK. Taxi fare about 50-60 Bhat. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet, the spread is just perfect not too many, very local dish and I must say is very GOOD. My Husband and I enjoyed it so much. Check in was quick , no issue. However, comment for the receptionist, SMILE please - you don t look happy most of the time, as I watched you across the buffet table.
Better to print the hotel name and address in Thai - taxi driver not very sure of the place, fortunately I did ask the hotel to email me in advance the hotel and address in their language.

The room was ok, but the bathroom is poor. The hotel is not located at a main street, which is good because it is quite but you have to walk along very poor area to get to it.
Breakfast was ok but not great.
access - they have wifi in the rooms but i didnt test it. I used the in the lobby - there is only 1 pc and it looks poor.
I would take another hotel next time I go to Bangkok.
