Wonderful location in Charansanitwongse it’s just right in front of The River of Kings or well-known as Chao Phraya River which is the main river of Bangkok city. It is just about 30-40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport. On the other hand just like about 20 minutes to main shopping center such as Palagon, Siam Square, IT center known as Pantip etc.
Royal River Hotel has totally 436 luxurious rooms of Standard Superior and Deluxe classification, with 12 Suites, offering panoramic view of the ''River of Kings''. All type of rooms come with Beds are firm and comfortable, and a multi channels radio will soothe you with you favorites music. Other amenities include a mini-bar, a color television, an IDD telephone and, best of all, 24 hours room service. Different kinds of international foods and activities are provide at this hotel

Good location to take public boat, easy to visit Wats by boat transportation, but the boat off at 7:30 pm, the road side foods are good, especially at lunch time. River view nice and quiet. If not boat transportation feel far go to Siam and MBK. Go airport about about 45 min at not rush hour.

As usual we arrived to the friendly helpful Royal River Hotel. Upon our request we were shown to a HUGE river view room. The size of the room is exceptional but I feel a little updating of the room would be beneficial. Everytime we visit Bangkok we stay at the Royal River and enjoy the Hotel very much.

I found the hotel to be kind of old ,needs some upgrading.Breakfast was good.The first morning at 8am someone up above our room decided to rip out some tile with a hammer and chisel,so not too pleasent.good location to watch fireworks for king s birthday.

This hotel has lousy management. After travelling for two days, we checked into the hotel asking for a quiet room. What did we get, construction overhead and lots of noise. When I asked to speak to the manager, she took forever to come to the front desk, never introduced herself and had almost NO manners. A young child of about 8 was shouting behind the counter, with guest infront, and nobody asked the child to keep it down. Food was ok. But the manager, couldn t manage a toilet capably. Will never go back again.

It s a nice hotel. You take what you pay I would say...But don t expect to make friends from the stuff. There is not smile or friendly behavior from anyone there. In the restaurant you will see in their face that they have problems. For any problem with reception just contact thailand friends. They will resolve your problems...

Our family of four just returned from Royal River Hotel, Bangkok. The deluxe room with extra bed was spacious and we had good view towards Chao Phraya river. Actually, we ended up spending lots of time on the balcony watching river boats and traffic on the Krung Thon Bridge nearby. The fact that the hotel is a bit far from the city center (MBK and Victory Monument) was excellent, as the red protesters were far as well! We felt safe and OK in the hotel and should wish to recommend it to others, too. The rate and quality anre fair here, it is a good three star hotel.

Mh, if you want to sit on your balcony of your spacious room and watch the ships on the river, this is the right choice. If you don t mind the river, choose another hotel...Pool is tiny.

The hotel was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the deluxe river front room. The room was nice with a good view over the river and city. It is about a 20 - 30 min drive from main airport (depending on traffic).

Stayed there for the 3rd time already, riverfront rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. The view from the balcony is excellent. Remember to bargain with the transport service guys at the front door, they tend to be a bit pricey
