The Eastin Hotel Makkasan is located right in the very heart of Bangkok’s main trading and tourist district. The hotel's close vicinity to Makkasan station will make it an even more popular hotel once the Airport Rail Link is open. Currently though the main focus of the hotel is the proximity top the Pratunam textile trading market, a bargain hunter's paradise. Not too distant either is the Ratchaprasong area where the world famous brands have opened retails shops in either Gaysorn, Amarin or Erawan Plazas, as well as other upscale shopping complexes such as Central World or Siam Paragon, to name only a few.
The MBK Center as well as Panthip Plaza IT Center are in easy reach of the hotel With its prime location and excellent facilities, including all new deluxe accommodations, an international coffee shop, cocktail lounges, the property is a sanctuary for tourists and business travelers alike.

Excellent hotel. Stayed here for 6 nights when we first arrived and another 2 nights before we flew home to Canada. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. The playroom and pool were great for the kids. For the price, you won t be dissapointed.

We stayed only one night at the hotel before going back to Sweden, so we did not have time to explore or use much of the facilities. The rooms were good with free internet, very good breakfast. However, the room service menu was not plentiful although quality wise okay. Location was great for us as we aimed for the Pratunam market which was only a few blocks away. We also had a very short taxi ride to the Makkasan railway station to get to the airport.

Rooms, service and staff all very good. The breakfast was superb and the buffet dinner was good value too. We liked the area, plenty of Thai street life. We will be back for sure.

En super bra hotell! Jatte fint och lyxigt hela vagen. Rummen var super fina. Frikosten var super bra!! Mycket att valja, en stor buffe! Varsta lackra utsikten over hela bangkok! Lag i bra lage! Very nice hotel. Excellent staff, wonderful breakfast. Excellent location. Go to the airport only 15 minutes. Dispatch station 10 minutes walk. I think the price is slightly overpriced. But if you come back to Bangkok will stop at this hotel.

to Suvarnabhumi Airport, only a 30 minute drive away from the hotel.

From Suvarnabhumi
Airport - Enter the toll way then expressway in Bangna direction.
Take Ploenchit Nua exit, turn right, then turn right again at the first
traffic lights on to Wireless Road that leads to Petchburi Road. Turn
right at the traffic lights, go straight but keep left then turn left
at the junction on to Makkasan Road. Keep left, then turn left at the
junction, go straight, follow the road. The hotel is located on the
left hand side of the road at the left corner of the short cut road
to Petchburi Road.
From Don Mueang Airport
- Enter the toll way then expressway in Din Daeng direction. Take Din
Daeng exit, then follow the sign to Anuch-saowalee. Turn right to Anuch-saowalee
at the traffic lights under the fly over bridge, keep left and then
turn left at the first traffic lights. Go straight, after passing the
traffic lights junction turn left on to Makkasan Road. Keep right to
turn right, the hotel is located on the right hand side of the road
at the left corner of the short cut road to Petchburi Road.
